A “Save” is credited to a pitcher who finishes a game for the winning team under certain circumstances. A save can be earned by entering a game in which the team is leading by three (3) or fewer runs and finishing the game by pitching at least one (1) inning without losing the lead; entering the game with the tying run in the on-deck circle, at the plate or on the bases and finishing the game; or by pitching at least three (3) innings in relief and finishing the game regardless of how many runs the team was winning by when entering the game.

2021   /   On the Rise

After converting all six save opportunities in August and holding opposing hitters to a .095 batting average, Clase was named AL Reliever of the Month. In 2021, he had a 1.29 ERA in 69.2 innings while compiling 24 saves in 29 opportunities. He finished fifth in AL Rookie of the Year voting.

We are not satisfied unless our athletes and fan-investors are happy.

As a baseball fan, investing in a player's future was something I couldn't resist. What a fun way to connect with the game.

Finlete has completely changed the way I think about interacting with and supporting athletes. I love feeling invested in players with so much potential.

Having the option to support exciting prospects has made baseball so much more fun. If they make it I'll feel like I'm on the field with them!

I bought shares because I believe in his talent and want to see him succeed.

One of the coolest investments I've ever been a part of. I love baseball and I love stocks and Finlete combines the two.

It's rare to find an investment with such a personal touch. I get to help make athletes' dreams come true.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are selling Emmanuel Clase Preferred Stock, a class of Preferred Stock of Finlete Funding, Inc.

A future earnings contract is an agreement where one party receives capital in exchange for giving the other party a percentage of their future earnings. In Finlete's case, the future earnings received from athletes includes salaries, performance bonuses, and other earnings directly related to income received from the team or league they play for. Expressly excluded is any income the athlete might earn from sponsorships, endorsements, investments, or any off-the-field activities.

Since Emmanuel Clase is on a Major League Contract, we will start collecting on January 1, 2025.

Until 2049. Practically speaking, this means we will receive earnings from Emmanuel Clase for the duration of his career as a professional baseball player.

Athletes often choose to enter into future earnings contracts for two key reasons:

  1. Investment in Their Career: The upfront payment from a future earnings contract allows athletes to invest in themselves. They can use the funds to access better training facilities, hire top coaches, improve their nutrition, and focus on their development without the distraction of financial worries. This investment in their career can significantly enhance their chances of success, helping them reach their full potential.
  2. Fans Get to Join Their Journey: By entering into a future earnings contract, athletes offer their fans a unique opportunity to be part of their journey. Fans can financially support the athlete's career and share in their success as the athlete progresses. This creates a deeper connection between the athlete and their supporters, allowing fans to feel more invested-both emotionally and financially-in the athlete's future achievements.

Starting in 2025, dividends will be paid out twice per year: (1) Within 30 days after the All-Star Game; (2) Within 30 days after the conclusion of the World Series.

Every share of Emmanuel Clase Preferred Stock is entitled to 0.000009% of his future earnings collected by Finlete Funding, Inc.

When accounting for bonus shares received for investments equal to or greater than $1,000, here is how much you'll receive based on various investment amounts:

* Emmanuel Clase is currently projected to make approximately $30,000,000 over the next 4 years on his current contract. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2029.

Regulation CF allows investors to invest in startups and early-growth companies. This is different from helping a company raise money on Kickstarter; with Regulation CF Offerings, you aren't buying products or merchandise - you are buying a piece of a company and helping it grow.

Accredited investors can invest as much as they want. But if you are NOT an accredited investor, your investment limit depends on either your annual income or net worth, whichever is greater. If the number is less than $124,000, you can only invest 5% of it. If both are greater than $124,000 then your investment limit is 10%.

To calculate your net worth, just add up all of your assets and subtract all of your liabilities (excluding the value of the person's primary residence). The resulting sum is your net worth.

We cannot give tax advice, and we encourage you to talk with your accountant or tax advisor before making an investment.

Individuals over 18 years of age can invest.

There will always be some risk involved when investing in a startup or small business. And the earlier you get in the more risk that is usually present. If a young company goes out of business, your ownership interest could lose all value. You may have limited voting power to direct the company due to dilution over time. You may also have to wait about five to seven years (if ever) for an exit via acquisition, IPO, etc. Because early-stage companies are still in the process of perfecting their products, services, and business model, nothing is guaranteed. That's why startups should only be part of a more balanced, overall investment portfolio.

The Preferred Stock (the "Shares") of Finlete Funding, Inc. (the "Company") is not publicly traded. As a result, the shares cannot be easily traded or sold. The primary return on investment for this offering will come through dividends based on the athlete's potential future earnings. Additionally, the Company may build an alternative trading system through which you would be able to buy and sell shares at any time, but this is not guaranteed and should not be relied upon when making an investment decision.

Shares sold via Regulation Crowdfunding offerings have a one-year lockup period before those shares can be sold under certain conditions.

Exceptions to limitations on selling shares during the one-year lockup period:
In the event of death, divorce, or similar circumstance, shares can be transferred to:
- The company that issued the securities
- An accredited investor
- A family member (child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse or equivalent, sibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, or sister-in-law, including adoptive relationships)

If a company does not reach their minimum funding target, all funds will be returned to the investors after the close of the offering.

All available disclosure information can be found on the offering pages for our Regulation Crowdfunding offering.

You can cancel your investment at any time, for any reason, until 48 hours prior to a closing occurring. If you've already funded your investment and your funds are in escrow, your funds will be promptly refunded to you upon cancellation. To submit a request to cancel your investment please email: info@dealmakersecurities.com.

At a minimum, the company will be filing with the SEC and posting on its website an annual report, along with certified financial statements. Those should be available 120 days after the fiscal year end. If the company meets a reporting exception, or eventually has to file more reported information to the SEC, the reporting described above may end. If these reports end, you may not continually have current financial information about the company.

Once an offering ends, the company may continue its relationship with DealMaker Securities for additional offerings in the future. DealMaker Securities' affiliates may also provide ongoing services to the company. There is no guarantee any services will continue after the offering ends.
